Visual design focuses on the aesthetics of a site and its related materials by strategically implementing images, colors, fonts, and other elements.
ABOUT
Hi, I’m Laura. I was born in Santo Domingo, and from a young age I developed an artistic side that was expressed through music, sketching & painting. I later began to experiment with html & all the problem solving that came with it.
After doing my Bachelor’s in Arts & Advertising, I decided that I wanted to focus more on design & so I moved to Boston to get a Professional Certificate in Graphic Design where I learned all about type, hierarchy & balance.
Following a move to New York, I went from working on environmental design, to working in packaging design, marketing collateral & web design. I soon realized that I was really more interested in web & so i pursued UX|UI Design.
